These photos capture the neighborhoods of Montreal, Layered, our five-day small-group trip for solo travelers in Québec. Home base is Le Petit Hôtel Notre Dame in Old Montreal, a short walk from the cobblestones of Rue Saint-Paul, the terraces of Place Jacques-Cartier, and the dome of the Bonsecours Market.

The days pair one anchor with plenty of room to wander: an e-bike ride up Mount Royal and through the Plateau and Mile End, a hands-on cooking class, a food and history walk through Place d'Armes and the Old Port, a morning at the Bota Bota floating spa, and a farewell dinner at Toqué!.
